Delivery Announcement
First, we would like to apologise for the delay in this announcement. We have had a particularly busy and hectic few weeks and promise we are working our socks off to get your deliveries to you as soon as possible.
Like so many companies before us, we have suffered delays in our production timeline. Dmitro and Oliver are camped out with our partner factories and manufacturers and will remain there until every last kit is on a ship.
Our promise
We promise to deliver you a product this summer, which is of a higher quality and performance than we had ever dared dream! Our standards are always high but with your support we have created a product which we are truly proud of and we are certain you will love!
Why are we delayed?
So many believe that there are inevitable delays of any project which is hitting its first manufacturing run but we tried extraordinarily hard to avoid such delays. However, the early stages post live campaign did take longer than we expected. Our campaign ended just before Christmas and although we all worked tirelessly over this period, business processes did slow down. We were persistent in finalising Batch 1 Surveys as fast as possible, which was necessary to place the the correct order quantities. However, this process was complex and time consuming to get spot on. Moreover, we had a further delay with the festive season of Chinese New Year which was five weeks instead of the expected three.
We have waited before announcing any delays as it was very difficult to estimate how these factors would impact our final shipment date. As you are aware, the shipment should be on its way to you by now. We are not quite there yet but we are not too far off.
What does this mean?
Your Swytch kit is currently in the process of being made and the dispatch date is later than originally estimated. We will be releasing the shipment date and your tracking numbers as outlined below:

We understand that you have placed orders with the expectation of an estimated delivery in April and may be disappointed, and so are very grateful for your patience.
If you have any further questions or queries, we would appreciate that you contact us directly so we can offer answers and solutions where possible. We want to be transparent and ensure that we keep you well informed.
Going forward, we will improve the frequency of our updates dramatically now that we have more structure and procedure in place.

A big thank you to all our early backers who have now or very nearly completed their Surveys and helped us get all the specifications pinned down to complete production of batch one.
For those of you who bought a little later, your survey has now been sent so please keep an eye out in your inbox for your BackerKit Survey link.
A quick note about the Survey. If you ordered extras such as a Throttles ($20) or the LCD Upgrade ($49) you will see the associated value of these add-ons combined as credit, which you can then allocate to those items you wish to have included in your order. It may not be immediately obvious but rest assured if you follow each question it will become clear by the end and your order will be complete.
If you haven't opted for any upgrades or add-ons yet and you would like to, please simply select any extras you would like whilst completing your Survey. You can simply add items on BackerKit and pay the balance at the end by secure credit card checkout.
For those legendary backers who have upgraded to the LCD display we want to say a big thank you to you. We are very proud of it and want you all to enjoy the additional benefits and great price we can offer for this fantastic add-on.

We hope you are all doing great! We’ve been super busy since the last update, and are pleased to say everything is going well with production. We have some exciting announcements in this months update:

A HUGE thank you to all of you who upgraded to the LCD Display! More that 60% of you opted for this upgrade, and the funds generated have helped to accelerate our development of the final Swytch Power Pack. We have been able to improve the design and features of the Power Pack and as a result will in the future be able to offer the LCD Display Controller as standard. We will therefore be discontinuing the LED version after Batch 2, perhaps sooner depending on demand.

Just click on “Edit Pledge Questions” – update the LCD question to “Yes” and then enter/confirm card details for the early bird backer kit upgrade price: $49.
Don’t worry if you don’t want to upgrade
If you don’t want to upgrade then that is not a problem – we will be creating a small batch of LED power packs for those original backers who would prefer to stick with the LED option.
